Safety Instructions

At Urban Climbing, our top priority is the safety of everyone climbing in our space. Our crash pad covers the entire area beneath the wall, and climbing here is safer than any public playground. Although there is still some potential for injury, it can be minimized by following a few simple safety and conduct rules.

These rules exist to protect the safety and enjoyment of every climber on the wall. Urban Climbing staff may permanently remove anyone who does not follow these rules from the premises.

Landing correctly matters a great deal - know how to fall, and practice falling and rolling backward onto the pad a few times.

A final word about training: careful, deliberate, correct training can prevent most injuries. A climbing injury can keep you off the wall for a long time. Train carefully, and you'll be able to climb for years to come.

  1. Every climber must sign a liability waiver. Children under 18 require a parent's signature.
  2. Climbing shoes only.

  4. No food or drinks on the crash pad.
